The foundation of all dance
Our ballet program within our recreational division follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, providing students with a structured framework to develop technical and artistic elements from RAD Pre-Primary in Dance through Advanced 2. Children aged 2 to 4 start in Tiny Ballet, which is designed to support dancers as they transition into RAD Pre-Primary in Dance. Ballet improves dancers' posture, independence, self-efficacy, resiliency and discipline. Character work also forms part of the RAD Ballet syllabus from Grades 1 to 8.

Common Questions
What age can my child start ballet classes?+
From age 4 (Tiny Ballet from 2). There is no upper age limit and we welcome all ages. Miss Danielle will always advise on the right class for your child's age and experience.
Does my child need any experience?+
Absolutely not. All of our classes welcome complete beginners and we ensure every student progresses at the right pace for them. Starting from scratch is completely normal and encouraged.
What happens at the 2-week taster session?+
Your child joins the class as a normal student for two weeks. It gives them a chance to experience the teaching, meet the other students and decide if it's right for them, with no long-term commitment required.
Are parents allowed to watch or observe classes?+
For most classes, we do not allow parents into the studio during class time, so dancers can focus and grow in independence. Tiny Ballet (ages 2–4) is the exception: parents stay until the dancer is happy to come in on their own.
How do I book a class or get more information?+
You can book your 2-week taster session online or contact Miss Danielle directly by phone, email or WhatsApp. She's always happy to answer questions and help find the right fit.
