Our ballet programme follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, offering a structured path from Tiny Dancers at age 2 through to Grade 4 and beyond. Classes are delivered with precision, warmth and a genuine love of the art form, building technique, posture, musicality and confidence.

Miss Danielle Emms is the founder and heart of En Pointe Theatre Arts. Registered with both the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, she brings exceptional expertise and genuine warmth to every single class. Her teaching is informed by anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, so every dancer builds safely and correctly.

Examination Pathway

RAD examinations are internationally recognised, OFQUAL-regulated qualifications. Higher grades (from Grade 6) and vocational levels carry UCAS Points for university applications. As a Wales-based school, our RAD examinations are also recognised by Qualifications Wales.

We maintain a 100% examination pass rate. Entry for all examinations is at the discretion of Miss Danielle. We only enter students when we are confident they will succeed.

Common Questions

What age can my child start ballet classes?+

From age 2. There is no upper age limit and we welcome all ages. Miss Danielle will always advise on the right class for your child's age and experience.

Does my child need any experience?+

Absolutely not. All of our classes welcome complete beginners and we ensure every student progresses at the right pace for them. Starting from scratch is completely normal and encouraged.

What happens at the 2-week trial?+

Your child joins the class as a normal student for two weeks. It gives them a chance to experience the teaching, meet the other students and decide if it's right for them, with no long-term commitment required.
