Rhythm, musicality & performance
Our ISTD Tap classes build rhythm, musicality and performance from Pre-Primary through Grade 1 and beyond. Alongside technical rhythm work, tap develops dynamics, spatial awareness, communication, focus, resiliency, collaboration, independence, active listening, problem solving and creativity. From beginner tap-a-long to syncopated rhythms, every class is precise, musical and performance-focused. From September, tap classes also run on Mondays.

Common Questions
What age can my child start tap classes?+
From age 3. There is no upper age limit and we welcome all ages. Miss Danielle will always advise on the right class for your child's age and experience.
Does my child need any experience?+
Absolutely not. All of our classes welcome complete beginners and we ensure every student progresses at the right pace for them. Starting from scratch is completely normal and encouraged.
What happens at the 2-week taster session?+
Your child joins the class as a normal student for two weeks. It gives them a chance to experience the teaching, meet the other students and decide if it's right for them, with no long-term commitment required.
Are parents allowed to watch or observe classes?+
We do not allow parents into the studio during class time as it enables the dancers to fully focus upon their learning, aiding their technical and artistic development whilst encouraging independence.
How do I book a class or get more information?+
You can book your 2-week taster session online or contact Miss Danielle directly by phone, email or WhatsApp. She's always happy to answer questions and help find the right fit.
