About the program

The Future Dance Teachers Program inspires students and enhances their confidence and communication skills. It is designed to take place over a 10 to 12 month time frame, with four levels in total for students to work through. Completing all four courses provides valuable experience as an assistant teacher.

Within each level, students take part in four assistant teacher training sessions of 1.5 hours per session, gaining valuable practical experience alongside completing a structured workbook.

Future Dance Teachers receive hands-on experience through work experience assisting within dance classes for a minimum of 30 minutes per week. This is an excellent opportunity to apply what they are learning, inspire younger dancers within the school and help build a strong sense of community.

The courses are accredited qualifications. On completing each level, students receive CPD credits, internationally recognised as Continuing Professional Development, which can be added to their CV and are recognised by future employers. Throughout the program, future teachers receive personalised guidance to help them succeed, whether mastering new techniques or developing their confidence.
